Amee and Adam Bearne

Amee and Adam had a wedding and before that wedding Amee had a bridal shower. Her LONGtime friend Sharon (formally) Webber put it together. The Walden aunts (Lisa, D.C. and Mom) and cousins (Malea and Me), sisters, with a few childhood and LA friends came together, became somewhat acquainted, and shared memories of Amee. Some were funny, some were cute, and others were just plain teary-eyed. She opened a few gifts, we ate chips and ice cream floats and took a picture.

The next day we returned, all dressed up and enjoyed their wedding on the beach. There were only close friends and family at the wedding itself. Bagpipes played as the bridesmaids and groomsmen marched down the isle,

then Adam (he is Scottish, by the way), then Farren walked down with Amee. Amee and Adam joined hands, but before the vows, they sat down and had siblings sing

and loved ones speak.

After the lovely thoughts and words of wisdom Amee and Adam made specific promises to one another and with that, they were married.

Walking back up the isle, we threw paper airplanes and the wedding party who instantly formed a receiving line. The reception was back at The Walden House; the idea of having the receiving line post wedding pre-reception was brilliant!
