went Kayaking down the Spokane River.John and I went in inflatables while Mark practiced his rolls in his hard shell.
Before we hopped into our boats Mark and John gave me the low down on all the most horrible things that could happen and what to do if they did.
That was comforting.
The river was not too high, so the rapids were nothing to pee your pants about, but we did have to work hard enough during them that no picture taking worked out, I tried.
It was not warm enough to get out and swim but we did stop at the big eddy across from this bird resort.
Although the inflatable was a whole lot of fun, I think I'm ready for the big guns. Bring on the hard shell!
