Naptime is revered here in the yellow-house household. Thanks to Mark's new giant fluffy chair and the dogs' new cedar-filled dog beds, naptime has been revolutionized.
Although Mark was sure that it would wash right out in the laundry, i grabbed a white t-shirt and improvised safety pins for rubber bands and went to work.
Unfortunately after this session i was only left with a sort of blue shirt, and after a round in the wash the only change to the white of the cotton were rust stains from the safety pins.
Conclusion: Very cool purple water good for nothing but looking at. Mark was right; as usual.
...it was time to take the boat out for its first voyage backing in and pushing out
We all got a chance at the wheel
It was a beautiful day and the lake was peaceful and relaxing. Although the engine was inconsistent in its maximum speed, we had a lot of fun and it RAN!!! All it needs is a little more cleaning. We'll be doing a little more research to find out what the problem was exactly, but it should not be anything expensive, just time consuming. Oh, and by "we" I mean "they".
James came for a visit last night, and since "in a million years nothing will matter" he decided to eat a garden fresh jalapeño in two bites. It was thrown up two blocks later. He says it still burns.
Sunday September 5th and Monday September 6th was Pig Out In The Parkat Riverfront Park in Downtown Spokane and those were the two days that my family was in town. Malea and I painted a lot of pottery at Polka Dot Potteryexperienced the Sky Ride (not as cool as it looks) & played a few friendly games of Ticket to Ride.
A friend of ours was in a hurry to get rid of a boat, so it was after a few minutes of debating, we (Mark, James, John and I) pulled all the cash out of our pockets,
including penny roles, and we bought a boat. Mark brought it home today. How can you pass up a $400 boat when you live in a county with 67 lakes?
