Lovely Ladies

Dear Ms. Holly Hooper is soon to be Holly Walstad and will no longer be able to go by the long lived nickname 'Holly Hooper Pooper Scooper'. I know she is having a hard time letting that go. Instead we will have to call her something like 'Holly Walstad Falstad Galstad,' which does not have quite the same kind of ring to it.
No matter the name, Holly's mom threw her a fabulous bridal shower in Bellevue. I, luckily, was able to trade shifts with a coworker which allowed me to join the party. It was such a great time being all together again.
Oh, did I mention that the two best friends that anyone could have, the two best friends that anyone could have, the two best friends that anyone could have ever, ever, ever, ever!

were also there?

Suprise! Happy 30th Mark :)

Mark was out rodatilling goat poop
into the garden soil when I got home from work that day. It wasn't ideal, but there was no stopping him. I insisted that he take a lunch break and we go to Subway for a sandwich. Unfortunately, little did I realize, Mark hates Subway. However, this is where my acting training came into play. I was always taught that in every moment of every scene each character has an objective and you have to fight to earn that objective. Mark was ready to pop his lid, but with one more push he followed me into the 'restaurant'. Almost immediately everything became clear. We weren't going to Subway to get sandwiches, but instead to get his family. His parents and brother drove all the way over to surprise him for his 30th birthday weekend. After lunch (from Safeway), coffee and present (a new laptop!)

we all headed back to the house...but the surprise didn't end there. Up rolled the Red Monster.

There was no denying it, Mark knew instantly who that truck belonged to: Josh and Lindsey were here! His besties and closest family all in one weekend! We all had a lot of fun just hanging out and spending time together.

I can't quite remember all the details after that... but I do know that we all went to dinner at the Post Street Ale House, which was DELICIOUS and PACKED!

After dinner the waiters brought out a big chocolate cake.

*Lindsey, thank you for your help on the pictures!
