Last week we attempted to plant and grow sunflowers around the front stairs and along the curbside.
Unfortunately for us, sunflower seeds make a delicious meal for the squirrels living in our front yard. After finding the area littered with sunflower shells we decided to start them inside and then plant them once they had sprouted. I took out our new hoe and got all that would fit planted before work.
Soon we will have a fence made of sunflowers.
